Sexual violence persists, at scale, despite decades of public awareness campaigns. The reason is not ignorance of the problem \u2014 most people know it is wrong. The reason is the gap between knowing and acting<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most prevention efforts focus on informing<\/strong>: campaigns, posters, slogans. These have value, but they rarely change behaviour. What changes behaviour is understanding<\/strong>: knowing what risk factors look like, what consent actually requires, what works and what only sounds like it works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SVPW was designed to fill that gap. Not by replacing existing prevention efforts, but by giving them a shared cognitive frame<\/strong> that adults can walk through in two hours, anywhere in the world.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The origin<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sexual Violence Prevention Workshop was created by S\u00e9bastien Brochot<\/a><\/strong>, a specialist in violence prevention strategy who has designed multiple prevention programmes over the years. The workshop was first launched in French in 2023 as La Fresque des Violences Sexistes et Sexuelles\u00ae<\/em>. The international SVPW\u00ae edition was rebuilt in 2026 \u2014 designed from the start for worldwide reproducibility<\/strong>, in any language and any culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is published under the SVPW\u00ae label by Association Une Vie<\/a><\/strong>, a French non-profit organization founded over ten years ago and dedicated to the prevention of sexual violence \u2014 particularly against children and adolescents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop draws on psychology, criminology, public health, and the social sciences<\/strong>, in alignment with the prevention recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO)<\/strong> and UNICEF<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
