The SVPW Game Pad is a 160×80 cm (63 × 32 inches) fire-retardant cotton fabric playing surface, screen-printed with the visual architecture of the 2-hour workshop.
The pad is organised in four horizontal coloured zones, one per workshop theme:
🔴 Risk factors — with iconography illustrating dynamics between people who commit violence and people affected
🔵 Consent — with the three classical consent positions: yes, ambiguous, no
🟠 Consequences — the impact zone
🟢 Prevention — where actionable prevention cards are placed
A central QR code links participants directly to the project’s online resources (sexual-violence.info/qr), so anyone can deepen what they’ve discussed during the workshop.
Why facilitators use it:
– Large enough for a group of up to 15 participants to gather around the table or sit in a circle
– The colour-coded zones make the workshop’s structure visible at a glance — anyone can follow the logic, including newcomers and observers
– The iconography supports the conversation visually for non-native speakers and participants more comfortable with images than text
– Prevents cards from sliding on slippery tables
– Folds compactly for transport between sessions
